Joining us means playing a part in defining, building, and launching the holistic data architecture across the Colleague (HR) data landscape.

The Role - Architecture - Colleague Programme

Whilst specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of the business, the following provides an overview of the role's key responsibilities and measures:

We are rearchitecting the core HR technology landscape for our businesses. For this initiative we are looking for an experience HR Solutions Architect who will:

. Build an understanding of the current as-is colleague technology landscape and the data entities contained therein
. Build an understanding of the Technology and Colleague Data strategy and objectives with regards to the current & future colleague data requirements
. Owns key design decisions around strategic data sources
. Support Product managers in shaping their respective backlogs with required data products
. Product artefacts that support the High-Level Designs
. Support the formal evaluation of technology options
. Participate in formal RFPs and represent Technology to ensure that Technology standards are followed
. Work with chosen vendors to define the high level solution design (including integrations)
. Support the implementation of chosen technology product
. Work on a variety of exciting projects;
o The implementation and configuration of new flexible working practices.
o The implementation of a new set of digital tools for colleagues

You'll need to have demonstrated experience of:

. Owning the definition of a data architecture within an HR landscape
. Defining source to target mappings and any intermediate transformation requirements of data
. Leading conversations around the use of strategic data source
. Extensive experience of working with several core HR and payroll technologies including Software as a Service (SaaS) products
. Extensive experience in designing robust integrations using APIs and/or flat files
. Be comfortable with domain modelling and applying a model to develop APIs.
. Excellent verbal and written communication skills - you must be able to articulate complex concepts to a diverse audience
. Experience managing work completed from external agencies to ensure the highest standards are met
. The ability to influence without authority.
. Architect using Modern Software Architecture - RESTful APIs, Microservices, Cloud Based Services
