As a Test Manager your core duties involve the creation and execution of comprehensive test strategies to validate the functionality and performance of IT services before they go live. You are essential in managing the testing life cycle, from planning through to the final stages of user acceptance testing, to ensure that all IT services are robust, meet stringent quality standards, and align with business requirements.

Job context & scope Responsibilities:

Design and execute detailed testing strategies that align with project timelines and objectives, and oversee the execution of test plans, cases, and scripts. To oversee the end-to-end execution of the testing phase within projects, ensuring testing is completed on time, to quality and successful delivery. To collaborate with stakeholders to define test deliverables, communicate timely progress, and ensure testing outcomes meet project requirements. Direct and support the testing team to meet project deliverables, ensuring they possess the skills, tools, and direction needed for successful execution. Implement quality controls throughout the testing process to guarantee that deliverables meet the required standards and overall quality of the project.

Experience Requirements:

Testing Expertise: Strong background in test planning, execution, and management across types of testing (functional, integration, system, UAT).

Experience of managing testing on SAP projects is essential.

Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse requirements, risks, and to prioritize testing efforts based on complexity and impact.

Project Management: Proficiency in project management practices (agile/waterfall) with the ability to oversee testing deliverables.

Leadership: Experience in leading testing teams, with the capacity to mentor, motivate, and manage team dynamics.

Technical Acumen: Familiarity with test automation tools, test management software, and continuous integration/delivery practices.
