Global IT Solutions Company requires a suitably experienced Head of Information Security & Compliance for their client based in Rainham, Essex.

This role will be a hybrid working model and you will be required to attend site in Rainham on a regular basis.

Day Rate: Negotiable Day Rate - Inside IR35

Key Skills & Experience

Information Security Qualification (ISO 27001, CISP etc.)

Security Training Certificates

5 years' experience of line management

Minimum 4 years' experience of managing Information security and compliance

2 years of work experience of incident detection, incident response and forensics

Experience with Firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Office 365 Security, VSX, and Endpoint Security.

Proven work experience as a Cyber Security Engineer or similar role in information security

Hands-on experience in security systems, including Firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc

Experience with network security and networking technologies and with system, security, and network monitoring tools

Network routing methods like virtual private networks (VPNs), virtual LANs (VLANs) and Voice Over IP (VoIP)

TCP/IP, user datagram protocol (UDP), IP security (IPSec), HTTP, HTTPS, routing

Security testing methodologies like penetration testing

Familiarity with web related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols

Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols

Phishing, advanced persistent threats (APT) and social engineering

Network access controllers (NAC)

Gateway anti-malware
