IT Support Engineer (Permanent)

Location: London Country: UK Rate: £34k - £38k per annum + 10% Bonus and Study Time
 

Join a globally recognised brand as their IT Support Engineer! We're seeking a proactive individual to join our dynamic IT team and play a pivotal role in supporting our technological infrastructure across the UK & Dubai. This position offers a blend of on-site and remote work opportunities with occasional travel, requires a driving licese due to site visits.

We have recently implemented a study time, where you can use half a day to devote to any topic of your choice to grow and accelerate your own career. The business will support you on courses and certifications. Half day study time on a weekly basis. 5 days away from work once per year if you want to do certifications. We will fund it as well.

Responsibilities as IT Support Engineer:

  • Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
  • IT Team spread across UK and Dubai, you will have an opportunity to visit there. IT Director lives in Dubai but travels to UK every month or so.
  • 300 users total.
  • Responsible for resolving tickets promptly and basic installation of laptops and mobile devices.
  • Gain exposure to a modern tech stack including O365, Active Directory, Networking, Azure and Intune
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT components.
  • Monitor and optimize IT systems, networks, and security solutions for peak performance.
  • Collaborate on IT projects and initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation.
  • Contribute to the development and enforcement of IT policies and procedures.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

Requirements as IT Support Engineer:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
  • 2+ years of IT support experience.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Ideally you will have EPOS experience (not essential).
  • Experience with Windows, Microsoft 365, networking protocols, and hardware maintenance.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ are advantageous.
